Logistics execution for distributors
Every truck, dock and pallet, on one live plan.
OcuDock coordinates supplier deliveries, warehouse receiving, yard capacity, inter-branch transfers and outbound dispatch. It works alongside your ERP, not instead of it.
- Runs alongside your ERP
- Web-based, nothing to install
- Suppliers sign in without passwords
What changes with OcuDock
01
Less congestion
Arrivals are spread across real dock and yard capacity, so trucks stop queuing at the gate.
02
Predictable workload
Receiving sees tomorrow's pallets, doors and times today, and plans the shift around them.
03
Less admin
Suppliers confirm orders and book slots themselves. The calls, emails and re-keying stop.
04
Clear accountability
Every late arrival, short delivery and damaged pallet is recorded with evidence and a reason.
The problem
Deliveries are still coordinated by email, phone and WhatsApp.
When the plan lives in inboxes and spreadsheets, the warehouse finds out what is coming when it reaches the gate.
- Trucks arrive together and queue at the gate and in the yard.
- Receiving cannot predict the next day's workload.
- Nobody can see stock in transit between branches.
- Planners re-key the same details from emails into spreadsheets.
- Short deliveries and damages become disputes without evidence.
- Supplier performance is an impression, not a number.
How it works
One system of execution, from purchase order to dispatched truck.
Each step hands a single shared record to the next person, so nobody re-keys a reference, a door or a pallet count.
- 1
Import
Purchase orders, transfer orders and sales orders arrive from your ERP automatically.
- 2
Confirm
Suppliers confirm or amend order lines online, with a structured reason for every change.
- 3
Book
Suppliers book dock slots against real capacity. Planners approve, move or push back with a reason.
- 4
Arrive
The gate matches the driver's paperwork to the booking and logs the arrival.
- 5
Receive
Receiving counts on a tablet, records exceptions with photos and completes the goods received note.
- 6
Move and dispatch
Transport plans transfers and outbound loads; dispatch ticks every pallet before the truck leaves.
Built for every role
A focused workspace for everyone who touches a delivery.
Each person sees their part of the job and one obvious next step. Permissions decide who does what, across every site.

ERP integration
Your ERP stays the system of record.
OcuDock is the system of execution. It reads your purchase, transfer and sales orders and never creates or changes a commercial document, a stock balance or a financial posting.
- Automatic intake
- Released purchase orders, transfer orders and sales orders sync from your ERP without re-keying.
- Keeps working through an outage
- If the ERP connection is down, authorised staff keep trucks moving with a checked CSV import or a manual execution reference.
- Matched, never duplicated
- When sync resumes, OcuDock matches each ERP document to its fallback record and shows any changed fields for review.
- History is never rewritten
- Arrivals, receipts and dispatches that already happened stay exactly as recorded, and every fallback action is audited.
Analytics module
Turn daily execution into accountability.
Every booking, arrival and receipt becomes data. The optional Analytics module turns it into scorecards and outlooks that show management where time and money leak.
- Supplier on-time-in-full (OTIF) grades from A to D
- Turnaround and offload duration
- Late arrivals, no-shows and throughput
- Capacity utilisation and look-ahead
- Exceptions, transfer variance and returns
- Carrier offer response and acceptance
Fair scores, or no score.
Punctuality counts only deliveries the supplier controlled. Fullness is measured on accepted quantity. A grade is withheld until a supplier has enough completed deliveries to earn one.

FAQ
Questions distributors ask us.
What is OcuDock?
OcuDock is logistics execution software for distributors. It coordinates supplier deliveries, dock slot booking, yard capacity, warehouse receiving, inter-branch transfers and outbound dispatch in one cloud platform, while your ERP remains the system of record.
Does OcuDock replace our ERP or WMS?
No. OcuDock reads purchase, transfer and sales orders from your ERP and coordinates the physical execution around them. It never creates or changes ERP documents, stock balances or financial postings, and it does not manage bin locations or inventory.
How do suppliers use OcuDock?
Suppliers use a web portal and sign in with a magic link sent by email, so there is no password and nothing to install. They confirm or amend purchase order lines, book delivery slots against your available capacity, request consolidation or collection, and see their own performance grade.
How does OcuDock connect to our ERP?
Released purchase orders, transfer orders and sales orders are imported through an automatic ERP connection set up for your environment. We review your ERP and integration options with you during the demo.
What happens if our ERP connection goes down?
Authorised staff can keep logistics moving with a checked CSV import or a manual execution reference. When the connection returns, OcuDock matches the ERP documents to those records instead of creating duplicates, flags any differences for review, and never rewrites arrivals, receipts or dispatches that already happened.
Does it work on the warehouse floor?
Yes. OcuDock is responsive web software, so receiving, gate and dispatch staff use it on tablets and phones without installing an app.
Can we run several sites and warehouses?
Yes. Each site has its own warehouses, docks, operating hours, closures and yard limits, and OcuDock coordinates inter-branch transfers and outbound loads between them.
Is supplier performance reporting included?
All operational workflows are part of the core product. Reporting such as supplier OTIF grades, turnaround times and capacity utilisation is provided by the optional Analytics module, enabled per customer.
Who builds OcuDock?
OcuDock is built by Abacus Assemblies, a B2B software company based in Southern Africa.
